Its a foam form that has a cover that you fit to your body then put it on the form and it compresses the foam to fit your shape. Its been really nice since my weight has fluctuated over the last few years, but it doesn't compress as well as I would like.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00545023539161418817noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8277934393505020880.post-89172570259298809242013-06-09T19:21:56.871-07:002013-06-09T19:21:56.871-07:00Envious! Mainly because you never know when you might want a little more room in something and it'd be great to adjust to whatever you like.seannaapprovedhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09546047220109216505noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8277934393505020880.post-53515040323569778592013-06-08T16:38:39.044-07:002013-06-08T16:38:39.044-07:00Thank you sweet Jessica:)Thank you sweet Jessica:)Joannahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16439393534029787165noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8277934393505020880.post-60164495097482153552013-06-08T16:38:12.449-07:002013-06-08T16:38:12.449-07:00I like how your sewing room has light. We do have one extra bedroom but it's too difficult to make it a sewing room as we also have our family visiting us. So, my space is the basement for now:)Joannahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16439393534029787165noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8277934393505020880.post-50933524312866988672013-06-08T16:36:43.186-07:002013-06-08T16:36:43.186-07:00You are funny, I want my very own seamstress too. ...You are funny, I want my very own seamstress too. I got it second hand. It has some issues but I'm happy with it.

I also had another dress form, but I lost that one last year when our kitchen burned down.

I used thise one to take pictures with, it was a simple white dress form. I've been thinking about buying a 'pretty' dressform, but I don't have enough space in my sewing room.

Your dress form looks very pretty and sturdy! Love to read more about it when you're using it.Antheahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02875482339841115778noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8277934393505020880.post-37312912167060606262013-06-07T14:05:53.865-07:002013-06-07T14:05:53.865-07:00What an engaging post - thank you very much for ta...What an engaging post - thank you very much for taking us through the various forms that you debated, dear Joanna. I was also looking at dress forms and couldn't find anything affordable. Thanks for this. Going to put this in my memory bank. Hopefully I can start sewing before the summer is out!

I can't wait to see your dress!Mid Century Pinkhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14121172283126858494noreply@blogger.com
