Dates could vary on this batch of vintage fashion images, 1930's. These are part of the batches of loose pages of fashion images (Vogue Bazaar) that I picked up on ebay awhile back. The original magazines (as a whole) these images came from can go upwards of $50-$200 each so it's nice to grab loose pages cheaply when I can, although I do find it sad that the magazines were torn apart to sell certain images separately.
How lovely is this spring time look?

I think this is a very interesting picture as you get a sneak peak inside what the cases from the 1930's.
Oh, I didn't know Henri Bendel was an old trademark name since those HB fashion accessories stores started popping up, I thought it was a newly formed company.

Goodness slim women in the 30s could really wear those dresses so well. I am always in awe! xox
ReplyDeleteAh these are such a beautiful, and wonderfully inspiring set of images! I love looking at vintage photography and it was such a glamorous era.

Thanks for the inspiration, those dresses are glorious!
ReplyDeleteThese are all so elegantly refined and wonderfully lovely. I especially like the fluttery tiered sleeve Bendel dress, it's something I could have seen Wallace Simpson sporting to a fancy afternoon garden party.
