A Rock Star With Two Left Feet?

Here's a cute website to make your own 45...

Do you like my band name and song title? I'd love to see what all of you come up with and please feel free to post your version on your blogs too.  This could be fun!  I googled that the 45 first started making appearances around 1948.  I have a bunch of records that were from my father that I should really look at.  I just bought a conversion player so this will be a fun project.  I vaguely recall some obscure records like "Johnny and The Pineapples" and of course, I know there are tons of Beatles albums in the mix.  I think there might be a bunch of 50's records.  I do know there were tons of 80's as well.  I think I shall go on a quest for the illusive "Johnny and The Pineapples" record lol.

Can you dig my new shoes from Remix?  They are my prefect red wedge shoe. Only one slight problem, can you guess?   Yep, two left feet lol.  But, they are so awesome at Remix with customer service that another pair is on it's way and it's no problem for me just a big laugh.   I had to think to myself, if I was missing something and maybe it was the style. lol   I'm just happy they still had another pair to replace these.

    1. Hi Laurence, they are awesome aren't they! You know I sent the box back with the name on and I can't recall the name. They are from an earlier line and they only had a few pairs left, I think this is why it isn't on their website. When I get my new box, I'll shoot you an email with the name:)

  4. Oh wow, I've never heard of that happening with an online shoe purchase before. How awesome that they were on the ball, professional, and responsible about it. They're gorgeous, timeless shoes and I just know they'll look amazing with so many of vintage outfits (I'd love to know how you think they fit when you have both proper shoes - I've daydreamed about their offerings so many times before, but having hard to fit feet, I've never even come close to taking the plunge and ordering some without having a sense of if they might possibly work for me).

    1. I love that their shoes are comfortable. But, I can understand why you might need to be there to try them on. I think it depends on the shoe style. They don't got by half sizes so I went up on mine. These red ones seem to fit perfect (at least the one foot did;) But, I can see why it might be a risk for you all the way in Canada:)

  5. I love those Remix shoes! Very pretty - but the two left feet must have been a bit disappointing! Thank goodness they had another pair in your size, so they were able to replace them!

  6. Ugh. I bought two left gloves once. I'm still hoping the vintage shop finds the mates. They were divine.

  8. I have loved Remix shoes since the day I decided that vintage was the way I wanted to dress but have never sprung for a pair. I love you set you purchased. Are they comfortable?
