The shoes in the last photo are beautiful, though I do wonder just what those sailors are gossiping about.
Harper's was such a treat because it was oversized, so you really got the best view of the photos. I'm not sure when they changed to a smaller format, but I know they were still printing Life-magazine size well into the 70's.
Just visually delightful! Loved it all. I really wish we could find these outfits in a store on a regular basis. Designers knew how to design for women then! xox
