Holland Part I

I'm finally back after great vacation to to Holland.  We spent two weeks in Holland spending time with family and doing a lot of kid friendly activities.  My children did not want to come back.
We did so many interesting things like visiting a shoe and cheese making business, gingerbread baking,  beach, walks in the forest, museums, markets, sand sculptures, and I was able to meet up with Anthea in Utricht at Madame De Pompadour!    More on this in the next post.
We actually didn't get a chance to make it into Amsterdam on our holiday maybe next time.

Here are a few pictures from the beginning of our trip:

Here I am with a nice cup of coffee as we walked around in a close by forest.

Outfit details:

Blouse bought on ebay, very good quality $32
Jeans - Freddies
Pearl necklace
White Bakelite Bracelet Brighter Bakelite.

On a side note, I was quite sad when I brought one of my favorite necklaces to Holland and I was getting ready to show my MIL and the string broke sending all the beads scrambling.  This is certainly a necklace I will have to restring.

    1. Oh you will just have so much fun!!! We were near Hattem and the outskirts of Amsterdam the most but I certainly recommend a trip to Utricht. I didn't get into the city which is also so much fun to see. Have a great time and I hope you are able to blog about it!

    1. Very disappointed about this one. I'm wondering if I might just get it professionally done since I also need a few rings resized too.

  9. Yay! I have been waiting on the edge of my seat to learn and see more about your awesome Holland trip. I'm thrilled to know you guys all had a splendid time (it's so cool that your children wanted to stay there longer) and were able to do and see a lot during your two weeks there. Those rows upon rows of clogs are so lovely (it almost makes one wish there was a wallpaper in a similar print).

Very fun, timeless sightseeing outfit - sometimes trousers or jeans are such a must when you're traversing on foot like that.

Can't wait to see more from your awesome travels!
