I remember playing with paper dolls as a girl, they were a lot of fun. But these vintage ones are so much prettier.
Way back when I was a girl, you know, waaayyyy back, ;-) my Grandma would let me set down with the Sears Roebuck catalog and pick out some ladies that I liked. Then she would cut them out so that I could play with them. I guess that was the poor mans version of paper dolls. lol
What a fun story:) I used to love playing with paper dolls when I was little.
I love them! I used to play with them too when I was little. I have't collected vintage ones bc I am afraid I will be tempted to play with them too hehe xox
Ah this is pleasing the inner child in me! I want to cut them out and play with them now!
These bought back some happy memories of playing with paper dolls from Bunty magazine when I was little. Fashions are great too.
My happiest childhood memories are close to playing witht paper dolls for hours, but I had never seen vintage ones before.Thank you for this treat, my friend.XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
