My Vintage Journey Conclusion

This is the end in my series of vintage inspired photographs taken this fall.  When I started to write this blog post, Frank Sinatra came to mind so let's go with the flow....

A quote from good ol' Frank...

And now, the end is here
And so I face the final curtain
My friend, I'll say it clear
I'll state my case, of which I'm certain
I've lived a life that's full
I traveled each and ev'ry highway
And more, much more than this, I did it my way

Ahh good ol'Frank, a swinging cat.  He certainly knew how to throw a party (if in a former life I assume I was invited too.  It better have been in Vegas. lol).  I was looking up quotes of Frank and came across this one that I thought was pretty funny!

"I feel sorry for people who don't drink.  When they wake up in the morning, that's as good as they are going to feel all day."

I'm, for the most part, this person but I had to laugh:)  Happy Belated Birthday Frankie! <December 12th>

So onto my last series....

This is my favorite picture of the whole photo session just below.  I think I shall look back at this photograph with fondness when I am eighty.  It was a perfect autumn day and I'm glad I was able to capture these moments of fall.   My outfit was completely vintage.  The coat hailing from the 1930's.  The umbrella I picked up off of ebay and was a great find.  I'm not sure of the era of the hat but it seemed to fit perfect with the outfit.

Yes, the cliche swinging on a lamp post, couldn't help myself:)

Thank you all for viewing my photographs from my first vintage photography journey.

  4. Breath-takingly beautiful images. The setting, your attire, the golden sunlight, it's all like something from a resplendent vintage fairy tale. I know exactly what you mean about the way you'll look back on that photo (and I suspect all of these wonderful images) many, many years from now with the greatest of fondness. I have some photos from last year that I feel the same way about, too.

Thank you for sharing this marvelous series of photographs with us throughout the end of 2012 and today. I can hardly wait to see what you have in store for 2013, my gorgeously stylish friend.
